In 2016 we began to work in a new book about Antonio Hervás in wich the author will talk about his life and work in a conversation with the poet and politician Carles Duarte. The book, composed of seven conversations, offers a close, intimate and direct approach to the work of Antonio Hervás Amezcua, in seven chapters that explore his biographical-artistic profile: his childhood, the arrival in Gavá and his period of formation; his growth and development as a painter; the trips and stays abroad; and his recent era of great artistic projects. Along with these, a chapter of reflections on the condition of art and the technique of engraving, so frequent in his plastic work. And finally a chapter where the two friends share their experience in the numerous projects they have done together, as well as the concerns and interests that link their works. |

In addition to the thoughts, the book recovers documents, objects and photographs that help us to know better the rich and singular trajectory of the artist. A book made by three voices: Antonio Hervás, Carles Duarte and the artist Javier Erre. |
